To you, the global citizen, we wish to extend our warm welcome to all international delegates to Malaysia. We cannot wait to show you the Malaysian hospitality and for you to experience Malaysia at its finest. Like many countries, Malaysia may or may not require a visa for foreign visitors but thankfully, Malaysia has quite a relaxed travel policy that does not require a visa for most visitors travelling to Malaysia.
Click here to be directed to the Immigration Department of Malaysia website listing the countries who citizens are required to apply for a Malaysian visa.
If you do have any trouble using the website, fret not, here is the list of the countries that will require a visa to enter Malaysia:
Hong Kong (SAR)
Central African Republic
United Nations (Laissez Passer)
Democratic Republic of Congo
If you require a visa to enter Malaysia, we highly recommend you to do so immediately as it may take at least a week to 2 months for the Immigration Department of Malaysia and its respective foreign diplomatic offices to process and approve your visa application. This is to avoid any unforeseen situations which can happen often within the Malaysian Immigration.
Attached here is a link to the Immigration Department of Malaysia’s website on how to apply for a Malaysian Visa. You will be required to produce but not limited to your passport photocopy, personal details and visa application form. You must also pay a small fee for your visa which can range anywhere between USD0.10 to USD15 upon the application of your visa.
Just in case you are required to produce a reference letter, we shall provide it to you but prior to that, you must be a fully registered delegate or student officer as well as having paid the conference fees. Please do let us know if you do require the reference letter.
We can’t wait to have you here with us in SUNMUN 2019 and we look forward to seeing you soon!
